At the International School of Holistic Healing, we offer hands-on training for students with aspirations of excelling in the sports industry as elite Sports Massage Therapists. Our approach includes a well-rounded education through comprehensive theoretical and practical training sessions. Our program is designed with multiple layers, providing students with a rich learning experience over a one- year period.
Sports Massage Therapy is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide specialized massage therapy for athletes and individuals engaged in sports activities. A few key components of this are Anatomy and Physiology, Sports-specific Techniques, Injury Assessment and Prevention, Stretching and Range Motion, Exercise Science, Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Techniques.
Thai Therapeutic Massage focuses on the traditional Thai massage techniques, which are rooted in Thai medicine and holistic healing practices. A few key components of this are History and Philosophy of Thai Massage, Sen Lines and Energy Work, Basic Techniques, Body Mechanics and Posture, Thai Massage Sequences and Stretching Techniques.
Myofascial Disorders typically provides comprehensive education on understanding, assessing, and treating myofascial pain and dysfunction. A few key components of this are Anatomy and Physiology of Fascia, Etiology and Pathophysiology of Myofascial Pain, Trigger Points and Pain Patterns, Assessment Techniques and Instrument Assisted Techniques.
Acupuncture Therapy provides comprehensive education on the theory, practice, and techniques of acupuncture—a traditional Chinese medicine therapy that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to promote healing and alleviate pain. A few key components of this are Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory (TCM), Meridian System, Acupuncture Points, Needle Techniques, Acupuncture Modalities, Diagnosis in TCM, Treatment Planning and Point Selection and Safety and Clean Needle Techniques
Reflexology provides education on a holistic therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears to promote relaxation, reduce tension, and support overall well-being. A few key components of this include Principles of Reflexology, Reflexology Charts and Zones, Techniques and Pressure Points and Contraindications and Safety Considerations.
